1. When is my credit card charged for the order?

Your credit card will be charged once your order is shipped.
Please note that online statements for credit and debit cards may display a preauthorization of funds immediately after purchase. Preauthorizations are typically removed from your credit card transaction history when the full charge processes and funds are withdrawn.

2. How can I place an order?

Ordering on FannieMay.com is the quickest and most convenient way to ship chocolate. Once you have selected the chocolate products you would like to purchase, click on the ‘Add to Basket’ button to place it in your Shopping Basket. Follow the directions through the checkout process to complete your order.
Your order will not be placed until the very end of the checkout process when you will be asked for your payment information.

3. Can you ship to PO Boxes?

To ensure proper delivery of your order, we do not ship orders to post office boxes.

4. Can I ship to multiple addresses in one order?

At this time, an individual order must be placed for each shipping address.

5. Can I revise or cancel my order?

Once orders are placed, they are unable to be revised. If you have questions or concerns, please complete a contact us form.

6. Is this a secure site?

Yes, it is safe to order on FannieMay.com. We use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving customer data exchanged with our site server.

7. What method of payment do you accept?

We accept the following forms of payment on FannieMay.com: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
Please Note: Fannie May Gift Cards are redeemable at Fannie May retail stores; they are not currently redeemable on FannieMay.com

Shipping & Returns

1. Can you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally?

Due to the perishable nature of Fannie May chocolates, we are not able to ship outside of the contiguous United States.

2. Can I check the status of my order after it’s been placed?

You will receive a shipping order confirmation email with your FedEx tracking number to track your order on www.FedEx.com You may also visit your account to check the status of an order you placed by using your order number.

3. Will I receive a tracking number so I can track my order?

A shipping notification with tracking details will be sent via email after your order has shipped. Additionally, you can track your order status by signing into your account and reviewing your order history

4. What shipping options do you offer?

Currently, we are only able to accept online orders to shipping addresses within the contiguous United States and do not ship internationally. To ensure the secure delivery of your order, Fannie May does not ship orders to post office boxes.
For each address within the United States, we offer the following shipping options:
- Standard Ground Shipping: 3-7 business days to receive your items
- FedEx 2-Day Shipping: 1-2 business days to receive your items
- FedEx Standard Overnight: Orders placed before 11:00AM Central Monday through Friday will be delivered the next business day
- Saturday Overnight: Arrives the closest Saturday
NOTE: Shipments to Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, New Mexico, Nevada, South Carolina, and Texas require 2-Day Expedited Shipping.

5. What are your shipping charges?

Shipping and handling rates are based on the dollar amount ordered as well as the shipping method preferred. Please continue to checkout for the ship estimate. To ensure your chocolates arrive in pristine condition, our shipping schedule adjusts for warmer and cooler weather.

6. What is your warm weather shipping policy?

ALL Shipments require 2-Day Expedited Shipping May - September. Orders placed on Wednesday for 2-Day Expedited Shipping and Thursday for Overnight, will not ship until the following Monday. Saturday Delivery Orders will ship the Friday prior. Our daily cutoff for order fulfillment must be placed by 11AM CST.
Warm Weather Note: Preserving the quality of your chocolate is of utmost importance to us. During warm weather months, we ship orders using insulated packaging and gel ice packs and exclusively ship orders via expedited shipping methods.

7. When will my order ship and arrive?

October through March: Orders placed on a weekday by 11AM Central Time are typically shipped within two business days.
Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will ship out on Monday via selected shipping method.
April to September: Preserving the quality of your chocolate is of utmost importance to us. During warm weather months, we ship orders using insulated packaging and gel ice packs and exclusively ship orders on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday via expediated shipping methods. Orders placed for 2nd day shipping method on a Wednesday after 11am Central time will not ship until the following Monday. Overnight shipping method orders placed after 11am CST on a Thursday will not ship until the following Monday.
Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will ship out on Monday via selected shipping method.
Due to the increase in seasonal ordering and FedEx delays, delivery time may be impacted.

8. What is your return policy?

At Fannie May, the quality of our chocolates has been a driving force for the past 100 years. We want you and your gift recipients to be delighted with our chocolates.
Your order is guaranteed to arrive in perfect condition at the specified shipping address provided. If you are unsatisfied with the Fannie May product you purchased from us on FannieMay.com, we will gladly replace the chocolate free of charge or provide you with a refund. Our guarantee extends only to correctly addressed orders. Unfortunately, and due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot guarantee the condition of the package if the carrier must reroute your order.
Please note that because we are unable to control the quality of our products sold by unauthorized sellers, unless otherwise prohibited by law, the Fannie May’s 60-day Satisfaction Guarantee is not available for products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized internet websites and unauthorized storefronts on online marketplaces.
If you would like a replacement or refund for your order, you must submit your guarantee request within sixty (60) days from the date of purchase. Please complete a contact us form that includes: 1. Your mailing address and preferred method of contact, 2. A brief description of why you are unsatisfied with your product, 3. The date you purchased your product, 4. Your order numbers
Fannie May reserves the right to verify information, require a valid proof of purchase, and to deny guarantee requests in its discretion in cases of suspected fraud.

Product and General

1. What is the best way to store and freeze Fannie May chocolate?

Fannie May Chocolate is best when consumed within two weeks of purchase. To ensure optimal quality keep chocolates away from direct sunlight and protected from moisture. Should you decide to keep the product for a longer period, it is recommended that you freeze the product. When freezing the products, take the unopened box and wrap it in a durable wrap that is appropriate for the freezer. If this is done properly, the product can remain frozen for up to 4-6 months. When you're ready to consume our product remove the box from the freezer. The freezer wrapping should remain around the box while thawing for 24-48 hours.

2. Do you carry Sugar Free?

At this time, No Sugar Added products are not available for shipping on FannieMay.com. However, our nearly 50 Fannie May stores do carry an assortment of No Sugar Added chocolates.

3. Are peanuts and tree nuts processed in your facility?

All our products may contain traces of Peanuts, Tree nuts, Milk, Egg, Soy and Wheat, even if not mentioned as an ingredient.

4. What if there is a problem with my order (contains a foreign object, melted, crushed, stale, bloomed)

The quality of our chocolates has been a driving force for Fannie May for the past 100 years. We want you and your gift recipients to be delighted with our chocolates, if there is an issue with your order please complete a contact us form.

5. How do I find out what ingredients are in Fannie May chocolates?

On all of the products and you will find the Nutrition Fact panel (including the list of ingredients) as one of the images as well as listed under Ingredients & Nutritional Information. If you have additional questions, please complete a contact us form.

6. Is your chocolate Kosher, gluten free or vegan?

Our chocolate manufacturing facility in North Canton, Ohio has been certified Kosher. Please review the Nutrition Fact Panel on individual products and look for "kosher" or the OU D symbol.
Currently, we do not have products that are certified gluten free nor do we sell vegan chocolate.

9. How can I find out if an item is available at my local store?

From the home page of FannieMay.com, you can select Pick Up in Store in the top right corner and you can shop online and pick up in store. You may also visit the store locator and call the store to check on in-store availability.
