How do I redeem promotional offers?

We offer various offers throughout the year that are published on the back of our catalogs, email campaigns, and newspaper ads. Below is a description of how each offer works.

May I ship Fannie May items in the summer?

Fannie May items may be shipped throughout the year. In order to protect your chocolates during shipping we require 2nd Day Air to certain areas of the country. With the added cost of shipping we will include a free insulated container packaged with frozen reusable gel packs that will keep your chocolate cool during transit. We also offer a 100% guarantee, if you experience any problems with your order we will replace your chocolates free of charge.

From 4/26 until 9/24 Fannie May can not ship product to PO Boxes, APO, AE or outside of the continental United States.

  • From 3/25 through 10/22 shipments to AZ, CA, NM, NV and TX require a minimum of Expedited Delivery service (No P.O. Boxes allowed). Appropriate shipping rates apply; please see How do you determine your shipping and handling costs?" A FREE insulated container will be included with all orders to protect products from high temperatures. Packages can only be shipped on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

We will ship your order via Ups or the United States Postal Service to target its arrival for your requested delivery date. If you need to have your gift delivered on a specific date, please use Next Day delivery to guarantee the delivery date. Please check your address information carefully. We gladly accept order for our men and women serving in the Armed Forces (standard shipping charges still apply). Canada

We gladly ship to our Canadian neighbors; delivery takes 1-2 weeks and an additional $12.99 shipping charge does apply fro each item on the order. As these orders cannot be placed online, please call 1-800-333-3629 and a sales representative will be happy to place your order for you.

International

We do ship international order, although these orders cannot be placed online. The shipping process takes from 4-6 weeks, and there is an additional $29.99 does apply for each item on the order. How much is tax?

Sales tax is added, where applicable, according to the tax chart below. The rate is based upon the state to which your order is being shipped. State sales tax is based on the destination state (where the candy is going). Tax rates are applied to the total cost of merchandise and shipping. Do you offer international shipping?

At this time, shipments outside of the U.S. are only available by calling our Mail Order Sales Center. Our representatives will be happy to guide you through these orders. Please note, from 4/26 - 9/24 we do not ship outside of the United States in accordance with our Summer Shipping Policy.

How do I freeze Fannie May product?

Our product is best when consumed within two weeks. When you decide to keep the product for a longer period of time it is recommended that you follow our freezing instructions.

Take the unopened box and wrap it in freezer durable wrap, you can freeze up to 4-6 months. When you're ready to give your gift or consume our product remove the box from the freezer do not remove any of the wrapping and let it thaw for 24-48 hours.

How do you safely ship perishable products?

To safely ship perishable product we will package each item in a styrofoam container with dry ice. Shipments that contain orders for cheesecake or other perishable items are required to arrive in two business days and can normally only ship Monday thru Wednesday. Perishable items can not ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses or outside of the continental United States.

Shipments to AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, ID, KS, LA, ME, MS, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, VT, WA, and WY require a minimum of 2nd Day Air service for delivery of perishable product.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE North Canton, OH. September 15, 2009 Fannie May Confections Brands, Inc. today announced it is voluntarily recalling select 2 ounce Fannie May Milk Chocolate & Almonds candy bars because the ingredient statement is not labeled to indicate that the candy bars contain Almond nuts. Please note however, that in all cases the product packaging does include the word Almonds on the principle display panel. Moreover, the candy bar packaging contains an allergen statement indicating: This product was manufactured on equipment shared with peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans, milk, eggs, and wheat. Fannie May has undertaken this voluntary recall out of an abundance of caution. This voluntary recall does not affect any other candy products from Fannie May.

The 43,008 individual candy bars that are subject to this recall were sold to customers between August 21st and August 31st, 2009. The code dates involved with this recall are 92291, 92292, 92301, 92302, 92451, 92452, 92511, 92512, 92521, 92522, 92661, and 92662.

No illnesses or injuries have been reported to date. Fannie May discovered the error during a routine quality control process check.

The product being recalled is a Fannie May Milk Chocolate & Almonds candy bar, 2 oz., UPC code 5274571484. A photograph of the product is below and also available on our website, www.fanniemay.com, to help with identification.

Fannie May Confections, Inc. announces voluntary recall of Bridge Mix and No Sugar Added Milk Chocolate Covered Peanuts produced by Madelaine Chocolate

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Chicago, Ill. February 5, 2009 Fannie May Confections, Inc. today announced it is voluntarily recalling all 8-ounce and 16-ounce bags of Bridge Mix and No Sugar Added Milk Chocolate Covered Peanuts because the products supplied by Madelaine Chocolate Novelties, Inc. of Rockaway Beach, N.Y., -- may contain peanuts from Peanut Corporation of America (PCA). PCA has announced the expansion of a voluntary recall covering all peanut products made in their Blakely, Georgia plant since Jan. 1, 2007, because they have a potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

Madelaine Chocolates today recalled the products because they may contain peanuts supplied by PCA. Madelaine reports that it tests lot samples of all its products for Salmonella, including all its peanut products, and none of the peanut products affected by this recall has tested positive for Salmonella.

Fannie May is undertaking this voluntary recall out of an abundance of caution. Fannie May has received no reports of illness connected to these products. Madelaine Chocolates has also stated that it has received no reports of illness connected with the PCA recall.

In addition, these four products being recalled were not produced at Fannie Mays chocolate kitchens. This voluntary recall does not affect any other products from Fannie May, because they do not contain products from PCA.

The product descriptions and stock code numbers for the recalled products are listed below, and photographs of the products are available at www.fanniemay.com to help with identification. The voluntary recall involves all of these products sold since Jan. 1, 2007.
