What happens after I place my order?

Upon completion of your order through the web site, you will see a "Thank You" page, which will include an online order confirmation number. This confirmation number indicates that your order has successfully been placed. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been received. If there are any problems with your order, one of our customer service associates will contact you by phone or email.

What if I do not receive an order confirmation via e-mail?

You will receive an order confirmation message via e-mail shortly after Fannie May receives your order. If you do not receive this email within 4 hours of placing your order, we recommend contacting us at 1-800-333-3629 to ensure that your order is being processed.

When will I receive a tracking number for my order?

Once your order has been packed and shipped out, you will receive an email shipping confirmation which will contain a Federal Express tracking number.

Which credit cards are accepted?

We accept a variety of credit cards including MasterCard, VISA, Discover Card, and American Express.

For your convenience, we also offer these express checkout options: PayPal, AMEX EXPRESS Checkout, VISA Checkout, Chase Pay, and MasterPass.

How much is tax?

Sales tax is added, where applicable, according to the tax chart below. The sales tax rate is based upon the destination state to which your order is being shipped. State sales tax is based on the destination state (where the candy is being shipped). Tax rates are applied to the total cost of merchandise and shipping. IA=6%, IL=6.25%, IN=7%, MO=1.225%, NY=8.63%, WI=5%.

Can you bill my company for business gift orders?

Sure! Just call our Business Gift Services department at 1(800)444-3629 between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM CST, Monday-Friday to speak with a Fannie May Account Manager about setting up a company account.

How do I freeze Fannie May product?

Our product is best when consumed within two weeks of purchase. Should you decide to keep the product for a longer period of time, it is recommended that you freeze the product.

When freezing the products, take the unopened box and wrap it in a durable wrap that is appropriate for the freezer.  If this is done properly, the products can remain frozen for up to 4-6 months. When you're ready to consume our product remove the box from the freezer.  The freezer wrapping should remain around the box while thawing for 24-48 hours.

What if I forget my password?

If you have forgotten your password you can go to My Account (top right corner of every page).  When you click on the My Account link, the sign in page will appear and, there is also a link to request a new password. Alternatively, you can click the following link: Forgot your password? and you will receive your password via e-mail.   If you have not created an online account, your e-mail address will not be recognized and you will need to create an account.

How do you determine your shipping and handling costs?

Shipping and handling cost is based upon the dollar amount you spend on our products as well as your preferred shipping method. Review the chart below for all of the shipping options available and their respective cost. Please note that a Shipping & Handling charge is applied to each recipient address.

Can you ship Fannie May® products in the Summer?

Fannie May® products may be shipped throughout the year. In order to protect your products during shipment in warm weather or to warm climates, we require 2nd Business Day Service to certain areas of the country. With the added cost of shipping we will include a free insulated container packaged with frozen reusable gel packs that will keep your products cool during transit. 

From 4/26 until 10/31 Fannie May® cannot ship product to PO Boxes, APO, AE or outside of the continental United States.

In order to protect your chocolates during shipping we require 2nd Business Day Service to Florida year round.


From 3/15 through 10/22 shipments to AZ, CA, NM, NV and TX require a minimum of Expedited Delivery service (No P.O.Boxes please). Appropriate shipping rates apply. A free insulated container packaged with frozen, reusable gel packs  will be included with all orders to protect products from high temperatures. Packages can only be shipped Monday through Wednesday.
