The first Fannie May retail shop was opened in 1920 by former newspaper-writer turned real estate magnate H. Teller Archibald in Chicago, Illinois. During World War II, while other companies chose to change their recipes when quality ingredients were scarce, Fannie May stuck with our exact recipes, making only what we could – never compromising the taste of our chocolates. From the beginning Fannie May's mission has been to make the freshest and best tasting chocolate possible.
Quality has always been the driving force behind the making of Fannie May chocolates. We sustain this by combining a delicious product, sophisticated packaging and selective distribution.
While we remain true to our beginnings, we never stop improving and growing. Backed by the strength of 1-800-Flowers and its family of strong brands, Fannie May continues to grow and open new shops.
We invite qualified business professionals to become part of our well-recognized brand, as we take the Fannie May experience to even more communities and customers than ever!
